Accounting Administrator

This Accounting Administrator position is for the Port Sandfield Marina in beautiful Port Carling, ON.

Accounting Administrator, Port Sandfield Marina

Accounting Administrator Duties include but not limited to:

· Manage, including processing all vendor invoices, obtaining approvals, creating cheques and Efts, maintain vendor files

· Manage, including managing customer accounts; sending month end statements, maintaining customer files, processing payments by e-transfer, EFT’s, running CC payments, communicating with customers, answering questions and concerns and assisting with bill payment options

· activities and credit card activities, bank deposits, electronic cheque scanning, maintaining/reconciling petty cash and floats

· ensuring accuracy of boat deals, payments, and floor plan payout requests

· bank reconciliations, ensuring all AP entered, daily cash recs completed, review of clearing accounts, AP & AR aging reports, external expenses posted, checklist followed

· hourly bi-weekly-spreadsheet completed and sent to HO, Tracking time off requests, vacation/sick days, new employee on-boarding/off-boarding forms and contracts

· Assisting with capital expenditure documentation; completing documents, obtaining approvals

· Providing support to team when needed and other support as needed by the general managers

Knowledge & Skills:

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Continuous improvement mind-set, following a standardize, streamline and simplify framework

· Show discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information

· Good time management skills, able to manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines

· Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility with job tasks and changes within the company

· Proficient in Microsoft Office – Strong Excel skills would be an asset

· Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision

· Team player

Education & Experience:

· Post Secondary education in Accounting/Finance

· Experience with LightSpeed would be an asset

· Previous Accounting/Finance Management experience
