We are seeking a Boat Detailer/Interior Cleaner to join our team at Walkers Point Marina. Lake Muskoka’s premier Cobalt, MasterCraft, Rossiter, Stanley and Barletta Dealership.
This is a full-time seasonal position, at a high-end marina located right on Lake Muskoka!
Position Overview:
The perfect person will be a disciplined self starter and independent worker, reporting to the Sales Manager. You will support the sales department in ensuring new and pre-owned units are delivered to the customer in excellent condition with your exceptional eye to detail and unwavering demand for a fantastic looking boat. The position will require maintaining floor inventory, and to create a clean and representative facility to ensure a high level of customer experience when coming to our location.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Report to the Sales Manager at the start of your work day & check what units are on the detailing schedule for that day.
- Ensure the boats are cleaned and detailed as per instructions.
- Maintain Showroom & facilities cleanliness (i.e. vacuuming, mopping)
- Independently monitor and manage the showroom inventory boats inside, outside, and at the lake.
- Create an environment where the units on display, the units delivered to the client, and the facilities maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- A willingness to work independently in a medium-fast paced environment (peak season, means peak turnaround)
- Ability to look critically at the task at hand to decide the best way to tackle the job
- Ability to work outside in the sun/shade at the dock, or in the sales yard to complete jobs
- Must have reliable daily transportation to & from the marina.
- This is a 4-5 days a week position, with the possibility of overtime during peak periods if the workload requires it (and per agreed upon scheduling with Sales Manager)
