Maple Leaf Marinas (“MLM”) is the largest owner and operator of marinas, marine resorts, and boat dealerships in Canada. MLM’s fast growing portfolio is comprised of 20 locations throughout the Lake Simcoe, Owen Sound, Georgian Bay and Muskoka Regions.
The successful candidate must be customer oriented and have strong interpersonal skills. You have to be able to work independently in a fast pace environment. This position includes weekends. This is a full-time position. Starting date would be immediately. Below is a summary of what the position consists of.
Duties:
- Provide a pleasant experience for the customers.
- Inventory Checks/Counts as assigned by the Parts Manager
- Working with service department & technicians to order parts for jobs and booking parts on work orders
- Ordering and receiving parts into inventory
- Maintaining stocked shelves, organization and up to date pricing of Ship’s Store products
- Working with the POS system
- Assisting Customers
- Setting up displays
- Updating daily spreadsheets
- Assisting Parts Manager with daily tasks
General:
- Assisting with answering telephones
- Regular office duties
- Assist with special event coordination
- Other duties as assigned by the General Manager / Parts Manager / Service Manager
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office; (excel etc)
- Friendly & professional telephone manner
- Sales experience – thrives in a social retail environment
- Knowledge of Georgian Bay and the boating lifestyle
