Work Site Environment: Odours, Hot/Humid, Cold/Refrigerated
Experience: Experience of DockMaster Software is an Asset, Customer Service and Retail Sales Experience Required
Security and Safety: Bondable
Transportation: Own Reliable Vehicle, Valid Driver’s License, Public transportation is not available
Specific Skills: Friendly – Get To Know Each Of Your Customers By Their Name, Work with minimal Supervision, Operate DockMaster Software, Operate Cash Register, Operate Debit/Credit Card Machine, Balance Cash, Provide advice about merchandise, Suggestive Selling, Verify stock availability from current inventory, Unpack goods received, Review requisition orders for accuracy, Verify receipts and packing slips, Place stock on shelves, Monitor inventory levels of issued material and stocks, Maintain stock rotation, Dispose of and account for outdated stock, Conduct quality control, Reconcile physical inventories with computer counts. Other duties as required.
(Additional Duties): Research and Provide information on available products/materials, Prepare Shopping List for Grocery Store, Process purchases, Pick-up and deliver groceries and non-groceries items for resale in store. Reservationist and Customer Service for Motorized and Self-Propelled Boat Rentals. Participate in Health and Safety Policies, Practices and Standards including Monthly Checklist of Marina Property.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment during High Season and Weekends, Work under pressure, Standing for extended periods, Handling heavy loads, Repetitive tasks
