Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Seasonal Parts Associate. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our parts department by assisting customers, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of our parts services during our peak season.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers to the parts department and assist them in finding the parts and accessories they need for their boats.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Process parts orders accurately and efficiently using our inventory management system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts department, including restocking shelves and keeping inventory records up-to-date.
  • Assist with receiving shipments and inspecting incoming parts for quality and accuracy.
  • Offer product recommendations and provide information on additional parts and accessories that may enhance the customer’s boating experience.
  • Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and seamless customer experience.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of marine parts and equipment is an asset but not required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
