Service and Parts Administration

Overview:  This position is responsible for assisting the Service Manager with regards to scheduling, delegation of tasks for Technicians and processing paperwork to ensure that all forms are filled out.  This position must exhibit exceptional service to our customers.  Our boating season is short and it is our intentions to help maximize our customers time on the water.  The person in this role must be proactive a it is a fast paced environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Able to work weekends
  • Strong organization skills
  • Computers-Able to navigate through various programs including Microsoft office, and to learn in house software.
  • Customer service is very important to the company.  We build relationships through trust and confidence of the customer to us.

Tasks:  This position encompasses many tasks to ensure a smooth flow in the service department.  Some of these tasks are:

  • Process any/all paperwork that comes in
  • Assist Service Manager with scheduling
  • Monitor efficiencies of techs
  • Create work orders.  Monitor progress and close when completed
  • Answer phones and assist customers as they come in
  • Assist with month end
  • Assist with promotional programs
  • Create estimates
  • Assist with receiving
  • Follow up with aged A/R
  • Monitor service on company equipment
  • Assist with promotional day Marina will have
  • Other duties as requested by Service Manager
  • If there is a concern with customers we have to do what is right to ensure that person continues to work with us.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors at all times
