Warranty Administrator

Maple Leaf Marinas is the largest boat dealer in Canada, and sells over 500 new boats, representing 25 boat manufacturers.   The administration of warranty claims in an efficient and timely manner is an integral part of providing superior customer service.

Our Muskoka Region is actively looking for a warranty administrator to work out of our Parry Sound office.    Working with our service managers, and with our accounting department you will be responsible for the documentation, verification and paperwork related to all warranty claims.  You will ensure that all warranty paperwork is properly documented and that all verifying criteria needed by the factory/distributor are processed correctly.

The role involves working alongside the company’s accounting department to obtain payments for warranty work, and communicate with parts and service to ensure all departments are up-to-date. All customer and service records should be retained and organized neatly into a comprehensive filing system to ensure that the company maintains a good relationship with all clients and also to make certain that all payments sent and received are accounted for. 

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A good general knowledge of boats
  • Basic accounting skills
  • You must be physically able to climb in and out of boats
  • Good communication skills

Experience in Marine or Automotive service would be helpful.
