We specialize in servicing and supporting leading marine brands including Yamaha, Mercury, Stanley, Grady White, Key West, Rossiter, Princecraft, MasterCraft, Waverunner PWC and Loadrite trailers.

 

Position: Marine Technician
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to join our team in Pointe au Baril for a seasonal, full-time position. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marine service, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

We are a group of three marina locations, based in Pointe au Baril – Desmasdons Boatworks, Beacon Marine & Payne Marine. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair outboards, personal watercraft, and boats from leading brands (Yamaha, Mercury, Stanley, Grady White, Key West, Rossiter, Princecraft, MasterCraft, Waverunner PWC)
  • Perform routine maintenance, seasonal preparations, and safety inspections
  • Complete warranty and recall work according to manufacturer standards
  • Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to ensure precise and efficient repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with service advisors and customers

 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Marine Technician (or similar mechanical trade)
  • Familiarity with Yamaha, Mercury, Stanley, Grady White, Key West, Princecraft, and/or Waverunner PWC an asset
  • Marine industry certifications or willingness to pursue ongoing technical training
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver’s license (marine operator certification an asset)
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects when required.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, and holidays.
